Deze moeten worden genomen door zowel de asset owners als de leden van VOMI. “Beide dienen immers te voorkomen dat blootstelling aan Chroom-6 tijdens werkzaamheden plaatsvindt”, aldus de brancheorganisatie.

Met de introductie van een infographic wil VOMI het bewustzijn bevorderen over het werken met Chroom-6. Deze biedt informatie over het werken aan Chroom-6 houdende materialen, de gevaren ervan en de arbeidshygiënische strategie. De introductie van de infographic vormt het startsein voor een bredere campagne over veilig werken met Chroom-6. Ook geeft VOMI in een toolbox handvatten voor haar leden om met medewerkers hierover in gesprek te gaan.

Precautionary measures

The introduction of the infographic is the starting point for a broader campaign on working safely with Chromium-6.
