Medewerkers van het Havenbedrijf Rotterdam en het DeltaPort Donatiefonds bieden financiële steun aan verschillende goede doelen. Onder meer een zeehondenopvang en gymnastiekvereniging worden geholpen.

Medewerkers van het Havenbedrijf Rotterdam kregen eind vorig jaar een digitaal kerstkado dat zij naar eigen keuze konden invullen. Een van de mogelijkheden was om de waarde van het geschenk aan een goed doel te geven. Verschillende medewerkers kozen voor deze optie. Hierdoor ontving Zeehondenopvang A Seal Stellendam 2.608,-, Stichting Jarige Job 6.308,- en Stichting Vaarkracht 2.508,-.

Goede doelen

Ook het DeltaPort Donatiefonds steunt opnieuw enkele goede doelen. Zo geeft het ‘een forse financiële bijdrage’ voor de aanleg van een outdoor-gym in Pernis. De buitensportplaats is een initiatief van de plaatselijke gymnastiekvereniging Turnlust. Langs de oever van de Maas worden toestellen geplaatst en komt er een freerun-parcours, allebei voorzien van een valdempende ondergrond. Daarnaast biedt het fonds steun aan een fototentoonstelling, de stichting Ketelbinkie, een hospice en het Museum Vlaardingen.

Port supports good causes
